The first steps.

Changing your mindset.

Sometimes making sustainability feel useless, because  you feel that your actions make no difference. But  through this center you may change your view of a more sustainable world.

When each individual implements a few practical tips, this can grow into one collective community of sustainable thinking people.

Do your little bit of good where you are; it’s those little bits of good put together that overwhelm the world.

Now that the end of the world is insight … no, we should not make it that dramatic, but we must now turn the switch. Fortunately, there are more and more people who realize this and contribute to change in their own way. The Green Life Center does not want to force anyone to adjust his lifestyle, these are choices that only you can make yourself.

We do, however, want to provide insight into the problems that currently play a role and how you could contribute to a solution. There are many adjustments to apply, so that your emissions are drastically reduced. We will describe these through individual blogs. Do you have a practical tip / adjustment that someone could reduce his emissions, all ideas are welcome via

Sustainability and the environment are two of the many terms that are the topic of the day at the moment. Not so strange, because what will the earth look like in the future? Nobody knows the exact answer to that, but scientists do know that if the earth continues to heat up in this way, this will have an enormous number of consequences for the existence of humanity.

We have to cultivate contentment with what we have. We really don’t need much. When you know this, the mind settles down. Cultivate generosity. Delight in giving. Learn to live lightly. In this way, we can begin to transform what is negative into what is positive. This is how we start to grow up.

By starting The Green Life Center it may be possible for some people to make something more sustainable through small adjustments in their lives. Sometimes sustainability is not at all as difficult as it seems, but you just have to know just what steps can be taken. It also does not mean that all practical tips are applicable to everyone, but if nobody does something then we will certainly not get there.

There are countless practical tips to start reducing your carbon footprint. I will write a blog about the term carbon footprint later, but in short it means the emissions caused by an individual, organization, product or event. At The Green Life Center it will mainly be about reducing our own emissions.

By offering a platform, The Green Life Center hopes to make a small difference. If readers have tips, please let us know! A tip can vary from a practical tip to reduce your emissions or a comment about how The Green Life Center can profile itself better.
